Serigraphy is a fine art process of transforming original art into a limited edition.

The term serigraph was coined in the 1930's by an art historian, Carl Zigrosser. "Seri" is from the Latin word for silk, and "graph" from the Greek word graphos, writing.

Many artists of the 20^th century, including Lichtenstein, Warhol and Erte, have utilized the serigraph process to reproduce their work.

Tami, owner of Artists & Heirlooms and Kris, owner of Wilkerson Fine Art were both looking for a partner to elevate spaces through art and low and behold each found what they were looking for!  “I had wanted to expand our gallery into Ogden and the space that Artists & Heirlooms had available was perfect,” said Kris Wilkerson.

Masterful rug hooking - an unusually beautiful and textural exhibit of amazing folk art by Arline Keeling, and her friends (all local hookers) is on display during the month of March at Artists and Heirlooms, 115 Historic 25th Street in Ogden. The exhibit includes 25+ Hand-Hooked Rugs of different styles and design.

The 2nd Annual Plein Air Competition and Silent Auction was a great success for local professional and non-professional artists alike!

Artists painted in Plein Air, a French expression for the “open air.” Twenty-five gifted artists participated in this extraordinary event, canvassing various scenes throughout the Ogden Valley. Participants registered early Saturday morning and were off to find the perfect setting for their chosen Plein Air pieces. This event was truly exceptional, for the artists forever captured moments in time, here in the beautiful Ogden Valley.
