Balloon Fest
The 4th Annual Plein Air Competition and Silent Auction was a great success for local professional and non-professional artists alike! Artists painted in Plein Air, a French expression for the “open air.” Thirty-seven gifted artists participated in this extraordinary event, canvassing various scenes throughout the Ogden Valley.

Didn't get a chance to ride in a balloon this year?  Afraid of heights?

Whatever the reason, here's your chance to see what it's like to participate in a sunrise balloon launch at the annual Ogden Valley Balloon Festival.

Hop on in and take a ride with Ogden Valley Magazine and Slider X (our secret video observer).

Sunday Morning Launch

What a great festival this year! Perfect weather, entertainment, food, art and crafts. I enjoyed reading about a family from West Haven and found more pictures on the Ogden Valley Balloon Festival web site.

Balloon Festival Fun in the Valley

Written by Danielle Vaughn

It's difficult not to look at a hot air balloon floating so free in the sky and not feel young at
heart, like a little kid again.   On both Saturday and Sunday morning, the early skies were
filled with colorful hot air balloons.
